For about two years, the number of suppliers of earth materials has risen sharply in France. Most of them can be identified, as well as builders and architects, on the following websites :

From North to South and West to East, many earthen techniques and earthen architectures can be found throughout France. It testify of constructive cultures that used to be very common in the past, but it shows also their revival and reappropriation since the 1970's.

Several Parc naturels régionaux (PNR) as the PNR des Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin (www.parc-cotentin-bessin.fr), the PNR des Boucles de la Seine Normande (www.pnr-seine-normande.com), the PNR Livradois-Forez (www.parc-livradois-forez.org) have implemented earthen architectural activities of heritage preservation or new construction promotion.
